Emiliana is Chief of the Education Division at the Inter-American Development Bank. Formerly Lead Economist in the Human Development Department of The World Bank, she focuses on economics of education, education policy and development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Emiliana holds a PhD in Education from Harvard University, a M.A. in Public Policy from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in journalism from Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela.
