Grant Robertson is New Zealand’s Minister of Finance. His belief in social justice and a desire to see every New Zealander able to achieve their potential led him to politics, and he has been the Member of Parliament for Wellington Central since 2008. Robertson is also New Zealand’s Minister for Sport and Recreation, and Associate Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage. Before entering politics he was an advisor to former Prime Minister Helen Clark, had a diplomatic posting to the United Nations, and worked in research commercialisation for the University of Otago.
