JUAN BAUTISTA VICINI LLUBERES is a Dominican entrepreneur, partner and member of the Strategy & Investment Committee of INICIA, an asset management firm headquartered in Santo Domingo with operations in the NOLA –North of Latin America– market.
He concluded his Bachelors in Babson College, in Massachusetts, where he majored in Economics.
Upon his return to the Dominican Republic, he entered INICIA, where he assumed as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Banco Dominicano del Progreso.
In addition, he carries out important activities in the Dominican business community and is member of several Boards of many of the leading companies in the Dominican Republic.
Mr. Vicini has also excelled alongside other Dominican and Haitian businessmen, for heading a series of proposals aimed at developing the border area between the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Also, he is also a member of various NGOs.
Besides being partner at INICIA, as an institutional and individual investor he is involved and committed in many economic activities within many areas of sustainable and philanthropic development for his country, thus he invests in many efforts to promote development itself, history, culture, environment, research and knowledge, and entrepreneurism, among others.
