As head of the Americas at Netafim, the world’s leading irrigation company, Yoav is responsible for overall management of the division, including business development, sales, marketing, finance, production, operations, HR and administration. In addition, he is involved with formulating the Region long-term strategic vision. Yoav is also responsible for Netafim's global Product Offering and Marketing including its Crop Management Technology (CMT) unit, which is a leading Agriculture Automation company.
Prior to joining Netafim in 2012, Yoav served as SVP Product development and Marketing at Adama, and was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in agrochemicals, telecom and banking. During that period, he was also a fellow of the McKinsey Global Institute in San Francisco. At the outset of his professional career, Yoav was founder and CEO of an e-Learning startup.
Yoav also was a lecturer at the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University, where he taught an advanced course on international business, and a faculty member in the Department of Economics at Bar-Ilan University. Yoav holds a PhD in International Economics from Bar-Ilan University, and an MBA specializing in High Technology Management from the Kellogg-Recanati School of Management at Northwestern and Tel Aviv universities.
