Rodrigo Martinez is a Climate Change Specialist within the Climate Operationalization and Impact Unit of the World Bank’s Climate Change Group. He has more than 22 years of experience in the intersection between development and environment. In his current role he serves as Regional Focal Point on climate corporate commitments for the South Area Region, and as window manager of the Economic Advisors support Program implemented by the Climate Support Facility. Between 2014 and 2021 he worked in the secretariat of the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and the Bio-Carbon Fund and posterior leading operations and analytical advisory services in the REDD+ and forest sectors at the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice in Latin America and the Caribbean
